Mission Impossible...or is it?

Spring is well underway and with it comes many opportunities across the region to participate in farm field days and other excellent educational opportunities available in the sustainable world .  As I strive to keep myself up to date on things being a relative newcomer to the space, I realize how fortunate the cause is to have such a vast selection of topics and venues from which to learn.  On any given day, there is some type (and often multiple options each day) of a learning opportunity to add to the calendar of learning.  It can be almost overwhelming unless we do something about it.

Therefore, 'your mission, should you choose to accept it…’

Mission Backstory:

At Southern SAWG, we’ve always wanted to assist in the sharing and networking of these events and are often asked to post details of upcoming opportunities for our community.  And although we have not been and still are not able to post everything that comes our way, we are striving to post a selection from across the region to represent the thirteen southern states we serve.  It is important to us to assist both the organizations that work so hard to organize and coordinate these offerings – insuring their events are well attended --and to also be a resource for our SSAWG farmer community so you can participate in continuing education and in being informed.

Mission Plan:

As a leanly run organization ourselves, please know that as our team works to share listings provided, we are not able to thoroughly research the region to confirm a comprehensive listing of events, so we welcome your input.  If your organization or an organization you are involved with following sustainable agriculture practices, has an annual event, please free to send the details our way to info@ssawg.org.  Together we can make this Mission Impossible, a Mission Possible

...and remember...'this message will self-destruct in ten seconds'
