Certified Kitchen and Food Hub Manager 

The Share Grounds Site Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Share Grounds Certified Kitchen and Aggregation Center. This position is in support of extension activities. We are hiring three site managers, one for each location - Marshall, McCrory, and Rison. Job training will be provided through the Arkansas Food Innovation Center in Fayetteville, AR.

Job Duties:

·     Maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen facility and storage areas

·     Perform pre- and post-operations inspection of processing equipment

·     Maintain appropriate records and paperwork

·     Provide advice on processing techniques, packaging options, and ingredient selection for processing clients

·     Work to support produce farmers in aggregation and distribution

·     Provide training and support to faculty, staff, and clients

·     Assist with teaching or demonstrations

·     Coordinate and manage scheduling calendars for facility use

·     Maintain facility and equipment

·     Other duties as needed


Preferred Experience/Training/Characteristics

·     Dependable

·     Detail-oriented with ability to keep regular records, maintain a clean facility and adhere to a strict schedule

·     Excellent verbal communication

·     Able to engage well and build harmonious relationships with clients

·     Experience with Microsoft Software Programs, social media platforms, Google, and other relevant technology

·     Customer service oriented


Minimum Qualifications

·     Formal education of High School Diploma

·     1-2 years related experience
