Farm Education Director

Arcadia is looking for a vibrant, organized and creative Farm Education Director! The Arcadia Farm Education Director directs and oversees Arcadia’s Farm & Nutrition Education Programs, a rich mosaic of Farm to School and summer Farm Education programs that serve approximately 2,700 schoolchildren in the greater Washington, D.C. area each year.  Arcadia’s mission is to create a more equitable and sustainable local foodsystem, which will improve the health of our community, increase the viability of local farmers, and preserve the environment for future generations.

Responsibilities: Farm Education Director is responsible for directing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the four Farm & Nutrition Education Programs (Field Trip Program, Farm Camp, Mobile Market School Visit Program, and Farm in the Classroom Program), and directing development of future projects.
