Farm Services Coordinator [SC/NC]

The Farm Services Coordinator is a full-time, salaried position that will provide technical assistance to organic and transitioning producers by becoming a certified Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Technical Service Provider to write Conservation Activity Plans Supporting Organic Transition; providing direct consulting to producers interested in transitioning to certified organic production; identifying obstacles producers face in organic production and the transition process; and developing resources to help address those obstacles. S/he will work with the Farm Services Director to prepare internal reports, compliance reports, grant billings, and other tasks necessary to meet program goals. 

The Farm Services Coordinator will report directly to the Farm Services Director and will require extensive travel throughout the Carolinas. Candidates working remotely from the Carolinas will be considered.
