Georgia Organics seeks a community-minded and task driven individual to serve as the part-time Community Coordination Assistant for one year. This position is responsible for providing administrative and logistical support in managing the Georgia Food Oasis (GFO) and the Atlanta Local Food Initiative (ALFI) and reports directly to the GFO Coordinator and the ALFI Director. The Georgia Food Oasis provides innovative learning and resource connection for the broader “food equity” movement across Georgia. The Atlanta Local Food Initiative is a coalition of public and private stakeholders working to increase and enhance access to fresh, locally grown food for all Atlantans.
