The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture will be hosting a Blackberry Workshop and Field Day at the Fruit Research Station at Clarksville on Thursday, June 9th from 2:00-7:30 pm. An array of speakers have been invited for this workshop to give updates on blackberry production and postharvest issues. In addition, there will be a display of blackberry cultivars and selections developed at the Clarksville facility and a tour that will emphasize the Division’s blackberry breeding program. Whether you are thinking about expanding your existing planting, changing to newer cultivars, establishing a planting, or investigating marketing aspects, this is a great opportunity!
The registration is $20.00 and includes dinner. Registration and payment deadline is June 1, 2016. For information or to register visit these websites: http://horticulture.uark.edu/news/upcomingevents.php or http://food-science.uark.edu/workshops-distance-education.php
