The workshop will take place at the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center, 362 Highway 174 North, Hope, Arkansas 71801. Registration will begin at 8:30am with the program from 9am to 3pm.
The field day will take place during the afternoon session at Manuel Salinas Farm,
750 Hempstead 55, Emmet, AR 71835.
Learn more about best practices for grazing cattle, sheep and goats. There will be short presentations and representatives available from United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Rural Development (RD) and University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension. Each of these organizations has programs available to assist you with your grazing operation.
The workshop and field day is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about rotational grazing. Pre-registration is requested by Monday, December 2nd to help with conference planning, however it is not required to attend the conference.
