Sponsor the 2018 Conference

Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group's mission is to empower and inspire farmers, individuals, and communities in the South to create an agricultural system that is ecologically sound, economically viable, socially just, and humane. For the last 26 years, SAWG has hosted a regional conference to bring together farmers and organizations serving farmers from across the southeast to learn, grow, and build stronger networks.

As the largest gathering of sustainable southern farmers, the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group conference is the best place to connect with both producers and industry leaders in order to build working relationships in the agricultural sector. With more than 1,200 individuals representing 13 states, this robust network of farmers, activists, and farm support organizations provides an incredible opportunity to not only introduce your product, brand, or service but also to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the industry. Your company or organization will not only gain direct exposure and acknowledgement during the conference but also gain wide exposure through print advertising, newsletters, and web and social media recognition during the months leading up to and following the conference.

The four-day conference includes:

  • Pre-conference farm tours and intensive courses.
  • More than 70 sessions in the general conference on subjects for farmers, food system leaders, and farm service providers.
  • Over 60 exhibitors.
  • Networking opportunities—regional and topical meetings, seed exchange, happy hour mixer, photo booth, and more.

Because sustainable solutions depend on the involvement of the entire community, Southern SAWG is committed to including all persons in the South without bias.
