Benevolence Farm is a transitional living program for women leaving prison in North Carolina which provides safe housing, stable employment, case management, and connection to health and social services. It provides an opportunity for women leaving prison to work on a farm where they grow food, nourish self, and foster community.
Benevolence Farm is currently seeking a program development intern to assist with finalizing program plans in order to begin admitting residents. It will involve program planning, building partnerships, some research, and working closely with BF staff as well as independently.
Please contact Kat Bawden, Benevolence Farm Program Committee Co-Chair (847) 302-3766, firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested to learn more about this opportunity. The farm is located in Graham, NC, but the office is located in Carrboro/Chapel Hill.
