The Assistant Professor of Organic Agriculture is a tenure track position having teaching, research, and extension responsibilities related to organic production agriculture and renewable energy. In 2012, The Organic Land Grant Assessment, Cultivating Organic Farmers, ranked KSU’s organic research, extension, and teaching program as one of the top Organic Agriculture Programs for Land Grant Universities. Teaching responsibilities will support the baccalaureate in Agriculture, Food, and Agriculture Degree (AFE) and the Masters of Science in Environmental Studies (MES) degree programs in the College of Agriculture, Food Science, and Sustainable Systems (CAFSSS). Research and extension projects should address the needs of organic farmers in and strongly cooperate with the Organic Association of Kentucky. Commensurate with experience.
