Be a Hero to your Local Food Hero on #Giving Tuesday!

“If the farmer is poor then so is the whole country.” – Polish proverb. Please help a farmer attend our 2015 conference by donating toward Southern SAWG’s scholarship fund. You and the farmer will be richer for it.

With your donation, you will help Southern SAWG share its vision of a world in which everyone has access to wholesome food from a just, sustainable farming and food system that supports good environmental stewardship and quality of life for all.

Our goal is to raise $6,000—enough to provide 30 fee waivers to the general conference. You can donate $100 to provide a farmer with a 1/2 scholarship, or $200 covers the full fee waiver. Of course, any amount will help!

Donations are tax-deductible and further our mission to empower and inspire farmers, individuals, and communities in the South to create an agricultural system that is ecologically sound, economically viable, socially just, and humane.
