Using case studies for on-the-ground examples, a new publication from National Wildlife Federation showcases cover crops, conservation tillage, organic farming, grassland management, forest management, anaerobic digesters, and retaining and returning land to native ecosystems as seven practices that farmers can use to increase profits, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and protect soil, water and wildlife habitat. The 58 page report is titled Future Friendly Farming: Seven Agricultural Practices to Sustain People and the Environment, and is available as a downloadable PDF file.
