The College of Agriculture and Human Sciences (CAHS) at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) will host its annual Agricultural Field Day on April 28th and April 29th, 2017. The two-day event will take place at the Carden-Waller Cooperative Extension Building and the Demonstration Farm at Prairie View A&M University (Main Campus). Workshops will be offered to focus on livestock and forage, small ruminant and horticulture, with particular emphasis on home and commercial vegetable production.
Farmers, ranchers, agriculture enthusiasts and agriculture professionals will benefit from this event. Since its 1982 debut, Ag Field Day (as it is commonly known), addresses issues in agriculture. Known for being a hallmark of educating, innovating and cultivating, PVAMU’s College of Agriculture and Human Sciences Agricultural Field Day will showcase modern techniques and best practices in agriculture. Usually the audience for this event includes small-scale, new and beginning farmers, ranchers or those wishing to enter production. However, CAHS welcomes the entire public.
Agricultural Field Days is a production of Prairie View A&M University College of Agriculture and Human Sciences.
