2017 Arkansas Blackberry School

Dr. Jackie Lee and Amanda McWhirt will be holding 4 seasonal classes in 2017 on blackberry production in Clarksville, Arkansas at the Fruit Research Station. Each class will be different and will focus on what is going on in commercial blackberries during that season. 

Dates for 2017 Blackberry School:

Winter             Feb 9th.          
Spring             April 18th        
Summer          June 13th        
Fall                  Sept. (TBD)

Each class will be held from 1-4 pm with time split between classroom and hands-on field activities. They have guest speakers lined up for each class. 

The course is meant to be for beginning commercial growers or growers interested in starting to produce blackberries. The cost is $40 for all four classes and will include printed course materials for each class, and snacks. They will only allow individual class registrations if space permits. Individual registrations will not receive printed materials.
