Do you daydream about being outside and being a part of creative nature? Do you think about ways to enrich your life and your community? If any or all of these questions sound like you then you have an interest in the core of sustainable growing! Whether you are seeking to become an organic farmer or just wanting to learn how to grow delicious, nutritious, organic vegetables in your garden for you and your family, then Cane Creek Farm’s intensive organic farming and gardening course is your answer!
This popular course is based on Georgia Organics “Fundamentals of Organic Farming and Gardening” which is a curriculum Lynn helped to develop and then later revise. Homemade muffins and freshly brewed coffee will be available Saturday morning and a delicious vegetarian lunch of fresh produce grown on the farm will be served Saturday around noon. Information about Cane Creek Farm including location and directions can be viewed at www.canecreekfarm.net.
In order to receive the most benefit from this educational course, participants should be in good physical condition and willing to learn by doing. No prior knowledge or experience in growing is required.
